A year later when Billy Ray Cyrus released his debut album called "Some Gave All", he changed the name of the song to Achy Breaky Heart. The song was #1 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand and peaked at #3 in the UK and #4 in the US. The Oak Ridge Boys almost recorded it but turned it down.
