Country artist helped co-write this song which Jon Pardi recorded in 2015 for his "California Sunrise" album. This song made it onto few charts at the same time including the Billboard Hot 100, reaching #37.
When artist gets onto that chart he or she is considered to have a crossover hit because it's not just a rock or pop or country chart. It's simply what's hot across all genres at any given time. This song has more of a hip hop vibe to it but Jon made it as country as he could. The song hit #1 in March of 2017.
Jon Pardi co-wrote this one with Nashville writer Luke Laird and it was the lead single from the album "California Sunrise" from 2015.
This was Jon's first #1 hit. Like "Dirt On My Boots" above, this song also crossed over onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart raching #51. He also had a #2 in Canada.
Inspiration for the song came from watching older and younger couples dancing on a dance floor somewhere in Texas. There is a music video for this song.

To say Jon's "California Sunrise" album was a success is a bit of an understatement as this song also hails from that album.
A #5 hit in the US Country space and another crossover to Billboards Hot 100 reaching #56. the music video was shot at Lower Broadway in Nashville.
And yes, there were 5 singles from the "California Sunrise" album, and this is the last one. It never did as well as the others but did reach #21 in the US and #31 in Canada.
