The Grand Tour George Jones & More On The Acoustic
Here on The Grand Tour George Jones page are several great tunes you can easily learn on the acoustic guitar. I'll be adding more number from The Possum as time goes by.
There are also free chord sheets to accompany the free demos. If you require a more in-depth full instructional tutorial lesson, those are available for a small fee and even cheaper
if purchased in bulk (see homepage for discounts).
I'm A One Woman Man is
of course a Johnny Horton song which Horton recorded and released back
in 1956 and scored a #7 hit. Jones released a version in 1960 but it was
his 1988 version which hit #5 on the country charts in Canada and the
US.
She Loved A Lot In Her Time was
a single released in 1992. Unfortunately Jones stopped producing hit
songs in the late 1980s but still managed to get onto the country charts
right up until 2002. This song peaked at #55 in the US.
You'll find the track on the album "And Along Came Jones".

Tennessee Whiskey hit
#1 in Canada and #2 in the US country market back in 1983. David Allan
Coe first recorded this one in 1977 but never had a successful version
reaching #77.
You'll find this track on George's album Shine On.
Walk Through This World With Me was
a #1 hit for George Jones back in 1967. George had 57 songs on the
charts by this time in his career and this was hit 4th chart topper.
The song can be found on the album "We Found Heaven Right Here On Earth At 4033".
