The song has been covered by several other artists over the years, including American singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, who released her own version of "Love Song" in 2007, a year before Adele's release. Bareilles' cover became a hit in its own right, and reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

I use a capo 2nd fret in standard tuning on this one and I play a chop rhythm using a shuffle as you'll see in the demo. A bit of lead blended into the rhythm here as you play the chords A, D, Gbm, Bm and an E.

So in my version I'm singing on the low end and because it's too low, I'm capoed up three frets while playing a root down up down up down up and repeat rhythm pattern. Bye Bye Baby became one of the Bay City Rollers' biggest hits when they released their version in 1975. Written by Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio, the song had originally been recorded by The Four Seasons in 1965, reaching No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Rollers gave it a faster, fuller pop-rock treatment that suited the excitement surrounding the Scottish band during the height of “Rollermania.”
Their version reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, remaining there for six weeks, and became the UK's best-selling single of 1975. It was also included on the band's Once Upon a Star album and remains one of the songs most closely associated with the Bay City Rollers.
