But it was the Bellamy Brothers version of When I'm Away From You that hit the top of the country charts in 1983.

Howard and David Belllamy, known as The Bellamy Brothers have been in the music business since the late 1970's. They have more than 20 #1 hits to their credit. Some of those hits are on this page.
Both of the brothers play guitar mandolin and banjo, while David also plays fiddle and piano.
David's two sons, Jessie and Noah are also in the music business.
Only two acts have made it into the German Country Music Hall of Fame and that is Johnny Cash and The Bellamy Brothers.
