It reached #20 in the US and hit #7 in Canada. Steve Earle co-wrote this song with Reno Kling.
Waylon and Willie did a cover of this song for their Wanted! The Outlaws album form 1996.
Now She's Gone hails from the 1996 album I Feel Alright.
This song was never released as a single.
NYC was recorded by Steve Earle back in 1997 from his El Corazon album which featured Del McCoury and Emmylou Harris.

Poor Boy is also a track on the 1996 album I Feel Alright.
Steve Earle did released two singles from that album but none of the four lessons I have here were released as singles.
Someday is a track from the 1986 debut album from Steve Earle called Guitar Town.
