This song hails from a 2006 collaboration album between these two artists. The song is played with a capo to get to the original key of C# but as mentioned in the lesson, you could play it without a capo in C.
There is a steady vibe in this as you play it with a steady down up down up rhythm pattern. There are only four chords in this one including a C, F, G and an Eb. If you listen to the live version from Lettermen below you'll notice Mark playing some electric lead in the beginning as well in places throughout the song and near the end. Maybe easy to do as a professional and with a full band around you but not so easy with one guitar.
In the lesson I do mention a few riffs you could put in near the end but I wouldn't bother with just a single guitar. Perhaps as a duo with two guitars you could take this song out a bit longer and mess with some improvised lead but not necessary as a solo play IMHO.
