Drinking Days can be found on the 2014 album Home. This song was released as a single but failed to chart.
The song only has the chords G, Am, D and a D7 and I'm playing this one with a capo on the 2nd fret. The rhythm you'll need is basic root down up down up down up pattern found in many country songs and there is no lead picking required here.
Girls From Texas was a duet performed with fellow Texas artist Lyle Lovett and can be found on the 2014 album Home. The song however failed to reach the charts. Two other singles from the album also did not make it onto the country charts.
This one has a bit of a swing to it as you might expect when you combine Girls and Texas into a song. I play this one with a capo on the 2nd fret using the chords C, G6, Am, Am/G, F, D7, G, Fm and a C7.
You'll want to play a down up stop up pattern as you move through this song and there is a place for a bit of lead guitar picking.
Take Me Out To The Dancehall is also from the 2001 studio album Three Days. This track was never released as a single.
The rhythm pattern for this song played in standard tuning is root down up down up down up and repeat. There is a bit of lead playing blended into the rhythm for this one and a few riffs.
The chords are G, C, D, D/Gb and an Am.
Texas On My Mind is from a collaboration album by Pat Green and fellow Texan artist Cory Morrow called Songs We Wish We'd Written and was released in 2001. The song did make it to #60 on the US Country chart.
For this one in standard tuning you'll use a down down up down up down up pattern and repeat with some chops throughout the song. And there is some picking to fill this one out.
The chords you'll need are G, C, D, D/Gb, Em, A7 and a D.
Whiskey hails from the 2001 album entitled Three Days. The album had 13 tracks on it but this particular song was never released as a single.
This one you can play in standard tuning using the chords D, Em, G, A7 and a D/Gb.
The rhythm follows a familiar pattern which is root down up down up down up and repeat. There are a few riffs and a bit of picking in this song.
